“We (the High Risk) are more powerful than meets the eye because we fight a battle everyday. When I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, it altered every aspect of my life. It changed my routine, my eating habits; the diagnosis flipped my whole world upside down…but I came through on the other side. There are certainly parallels between that and the changes we’re all going through now. When it’s all said and done, maybe we can all just work on being better people.”
