“The question should be, ‘What is the responsibility of the American people?’ Society has become selfish and we’re putting neighbors against neighbors. It won’t work. We need to go back to caring for each other. Instead of a ‘Me’ mentality, it should be ‘We’. Everyone has rights, but you can’t go to extremes. For someone to make radical statements when they lack experience in the world is ridiculous and unhelpful. In times like these, emotions are normal; you should let yourself feel them but don’t let emotions drive your actions. Every generation has gone through something, but we need to have patience and generosity. Instead of pointing fingers, fix yourself first. I wish people would look internally so we could start bettering society.”
