“I would imagine, you must feel your life is richer for the people you photographed and interviewed.”
“Largely in part (the subjects) were all strangers that had reached out to me. So to be able to go to their home and discuss such a horrific topic, to kind of flesh out these wounds, to start a relationship with someone on such an intimate level was pretty incredible…and I still keep in touch with a lot of these people.”
